Kathayoon Khalil is a doctoral candidate in the Learning Sciences and Technology Design program at the Stanford University School of Education and a member of the Spark Truck team. Khalil received her master’s degree in environmental science from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies in 2010 and her bachelor’s in organismal biology and literature from Claremont McKenna College in 2007. Khalil has worked at the Oregon Zoo as a volunteer, conservation educator, administrative intern, research associate, and assistant camp director. In her doctoral research, Khalil looks at innovative ways of determining the impact of a zoo or aquarium trip on visitors’ environmental attitudes and behaviors. @sparktruck
