Jim Brown is President of TerrAlign Group. Jim joined TerrAlign in 1988. During his tenure at TerrAlign, he has served as principal consultant in various industries, including pharmaceuticals and consumer packaged goods, and he continues to lead TerrAlign’s consulting practice in the vision care industry. Jim also contributed to the early development of TerrAlign’s software, including various proprietary algorithms still in use today. In 1995, he assumed leadership of TerrAlign as Divisional Senior Executive, during a time when TerrAlign was a division of Metron, Inc. In 2002, TerrAlign became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Metron and Jim was promoted to President. In 2004, he led the transformation of TerrAlign into a completely independent, employee-owned entity. Jim holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
